Eight-year-old Turkmen athlete Alihan Nuryagdyýew achieved a spectacular double victory at the "Aktobe Masters 10&Under GA Road to TOP 8" international tennis championship held in Aktobe, Kazakhstan. The elite youth competition brought together nearly 200 top-ranked boys and girls under the age of 10 from multiple countries. The young player's outstanding performance underscores the rising potential and successful development of junior sports programs in Turkmenistan.

In the singles category, the Ashgabat native navigated through a highly competitive draw to reach the tournament’s final match. Facing a formidable local opponent and one of the event's top seeds, G. Istomin of Kazakhstan, Alihan displayed impressive technical resilience to secure the championship title. He achieved his second gold medal in the doubles division, executing a seamless partnership alongside Navid Sabyrow from the city of Atyrau.

This prestigious event marked the first major international tournament abroad for the young prospect, showcasing his exceptional readiness for high-level competition.
