Ward of Ashgabat Orphanage Officially Granted New Name and Legal Documentation
02 Jun. 04:56A formal ceremony was held in the capital of Turkmenistan to present an official name registration certificate to a young female resident of the state orphanage. The event was specifically timed to coincide with International Children's Day, highlighting the nation's robust social welfare system.
The foundation for this humanitarian action was laid during a recent meeting of the Council of Elders under the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care. On the eve of the holy Eid al-Adha holiday, council members initiated a proposal to bestow the symbolic name Arkadag gyzy Gurbangul upon the child left without parental custody.
Following the approved decision by the specialized charitable organization named after the National Leader of the Turkmen people, all necessary legal identification papers were prepared and delivered. As reported during the evening broadcast of the "Watan" news program, this initiative reflects the alignment of state social initiatives with national moral values.
In addition to the official documentation confirming her updated civil status, the young girl was presented with special gifts from the humanitarian fund. State officials reaffirmed that ensuring the comprehensive welfare and rights of children under state guardianship remains an unalterable priority of the national social policy.

To mark the National Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Industry Workers' Day, Health Center No. 1 in Mary, located along Oguzkhan Street, was officially reopened following a comprehensive structural renovation. The renovation project was successfully carried out by the local private construction enterprise "Yhlasa Ynam." During the official ceremony, outstanding construction workers were awarded valuable commemorative gifts presented on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.
Additionally, to boost mobile diagnostic capabilities in the region, a fully equipped "Mercedes-Benz" mobile medical unit featuring digital X-ray and fluorography technology was officially presented to the health center on behalf of the Head of State.
