The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, will pay a state visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan from May 27 to 29. The official visit is taking place upon the personal invitation of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as reported by the "Gazeta.ru" news outlet. The high-level talks are aimed at expanding geopolitical alignment and bolstering economic ties between the two allied nations.

During the extensive schedule, the two heads of state will hold narrow and expanded-format meetings to review the current status and future horizons of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Russia. The bilateral discussions will focus on accelerating trade volumes, energy cooperation, industrial collaboration, and regional security frameworks.

Furthermore, on May 28, Kazakhstan will host a major economic forum involving the leaders of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council member states. President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to actively participate in this forum. The following day, May 29, the Russian leader will attend the official session of the Supreme Council to map out new institutional pathways for economic integration, trade liberalization, and joint digital infrastructure projects within the Eurasian economic space.
