Uzbekistan’s National Committee on Statistics has released updated demographic data. As of August 28, 2025, the country’s permanent population has exceeded 38 million people, according to figures published on the committee’s official website.

The current population includes 19,136,803 men and 18,863,202 women, indicating a slight male majority in the country’s demographic structure.

In comparison, as of July 1, 2025, the total population was recorded at 37,859,795. This means that within less than two months, the population grew by over 140,000, highlighting a steady demographic increase.

Experts note that this positive trend reflects both natural population growth and the country’s stable socio-economic development.
