Turkmenistan’s President Receives Uzbekistan’s Highest State Award

Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has awarded Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov the Order of “Friendship of the Highest Degree,” the top state honor given to foreign nationals, the newspaper “Turkmenistan” reports.

The official ceremony took place on Monday at the “Kuksaroy” residence in Tashkent during the Turkmen President’s state visit to Uzbekistan.

During the presentation, Mirziyoyev stated that this decision reflects the sincere respect of the Uzbek people and recognizes President Berdimuhamedov’s contribution to strengthening friendship, mutual trust, and the strategic partnership between the two brotherly nations.

Established in 2020, the Order of “Friendship of the Highest Degree” is Uzbekistan’s most prestigious state decoration for foreign citizens. It is awarded to heads of state and government, members of foreign parliaments, representatives of international organizations, and distinguished public figures from various fields.

North Carolina resident Christian Breton has secured a major lottery payout for the second time. According to Lottery Post, he has decided to donate a portion of his winnings to support school-aged children from low-income families in his local community.

After purchasing a $30 "$100,000 Cash Payday" scratch-off ticket, Breton claimed the $100,000 top prize, taking home $72,000 after taxes. This marks his second major win, following a $2 million prize in August 2024. Breton shared that while his previous winnings went toward helping his mother, his goal this time is to give back to the community by supporting families in need.
