Turkmenistan’s Arkadag to face Al-Nassr in the AFC Champions League Two Round of 16
30 Dec. 07:37FC Arkadag, representing Turkmenistan, has been drawn against Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr in the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League Two. The matchup was confirmed following the official draw held at the Asian Football Confederation headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.
The first-leg matches are scheduled for February 10–11, while the return fixtures will take place on February 18–19. The opening game of the tie will be hosted by Arkadag, giving the Turkmenistan club the chance to start the knockout stage at home.
Al-Nassr’s squad features global football icon Cristiano Ronaldo, a UEFA Euro 2016 winner and five-time Ballon d’Or recipient. The clash between Al-Nassr and the club from Turkmenistan is expected to be one of the most high-profile encounters of this stage of the competition.
