Competing against elite martial artists, the Turkmen delegation showcased exceptional technical skill, securing a total of 16 medals. According to official reports from the International Sambo Federation (FIAS), the team's final medal haul consisted of four gold, seven silver, and five bronze medals.

The high-profile international event was hosted at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila during the final week of June. This iteration marked the first time in sporting history that the Philippines organized the prestigious continental championship, which integrated senior-level categories alongside youth and junior divisions. The continental tournament was jointly managed by the Sambo Union of Asia and Oceania and the Sambo Federation of the Philippines, drawing more than 500 top-tier athletes from 31 nations across the Asia-Pacific region.

The standout gold medalists demonstrated complete dominance in both sport and combat sambo disciplines. In the youth classifications, Jasur Dovrangulyev claimed top honors in the 79 kg sport sambo category, while Alyhan Aydogdyev (58 kg) and Huseyin Begenjow (79 kg) secured first-place finishes in combat sambo. In the men's senior division, Sapar Dovletov captured the gold medal in the highly competitive 71 kg sport sambo bracket.

The broad distribution of silver and bronze podium finishes further reflected the structural depth of the Turkmen national roster across multiple weight classes. Silver medals were claimed by promising athletes Serdar Sheripov, Annamuhammet Annamuhammedow, Myratgeldi Myradov, Hakberdi Jumayev, Isa Geldiyev, Babamyrat Bayramov, and Allanazar Orazmuhammedow.
