Turkmenistan Prepares for the "GREEN EXPO 2027" International Horticultural Exhibition in Japan
31 May. 11:50The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan hosted an official bilateral meeting with Izisu Satoshi, Counselor of the Embassy of Japan to Turkmenistan, focusing on the strategic deployment and logistics for the country’s participation in the International Horticultural Exhibition "GREEN EXPO 2027." The global forum is scheduled to take place in Yokohama, Japan, from March 19 to September 26, 2027. The delegates discussed comprehensive implementation strategies based on presidential directives issued during the Cabinet of Ministers meeting to secure a high-level organizational structure for the Turkmen national pavilion.
The international exposition, operating under the structural corporate motto "Scenery of the Future for Happiness," is anticipated to bring together state representatives from approximately 80 countries. Japanese diplomatic executives expressed confidence that the Turkmenistan National Pavilion will generate substantial interest from global specialists. The state’s technical methodology in generating sustainable green oases and implementing large-scale afforestation programs within highly arid, desert climatic conditions is recognized as a rare and valuable practice in contemporary horticultural engineering.
For Turkmenistan, "GREEN EXPO 2027" serves as an institutional platform to reinforce its sovereign ecological diplomacy and display diverse macroeconomic investment opportunities. The national display will be systematically curated to introduce leading Japanese and multinational corporate executives to Turkmenistan’s achievements in sustainability, advanced water conservation infrastructure, and the integration of carbon-neutral green technologies into national industrial complexes.
