The Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports has launched a comprehensive series of athletic competitions designed for high school seniors and young athletes from specialized sports schools. Titled "Talented Youth — The New Generation of Athletes," this initiative aims to identify rising stars in the national sports landscape and encourage a commitment to physical excellence. The events are set to take place throughout May at the institute’s state-of-the-art multipurpose sports complex.

The competition schedule begins with a focus on core physical attributes. From May 4 to 6, participants will compete in general physical training and speed-strength disciplines. This will be followed by a testing phase from May 7 to 9, specifically targeting team sports and various martial arts. These sessions are designed to provide a holistic assessment of each athlete’s capabilities, blending raw power with specialized technical skills.

Mid-May will transition into a series of highly anticipated open championships hosted by the institute. These include the National Turkmen and Belt Wrestling championships from May 12 to 14, followed by Greco-Roman and Freestyle wrestling from May 15 to 17. The series will conclude with the Sambo open championship from May 22 to 24. These tournaments offer a prestigious platform for young competitors to showcase their prowess in front of professional scouts and academic instructors.

Prospective participants can register through modern digital channels, including QR-code scanning and a dedicated university email system. Online registration is encouraged, though on-site registration will remain available until the start of each competition.
