Frankfurt am Main, October 30. The international forum “Turkmenistan Economic Days” opens today in Germany’s financial capital. The event is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in partnership with TMT Consulting Group.
The forum aims to strengthen economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and European countries, while presenting the investment potential and opportunities of Turkmenistan’s rapidly developing economy.
The forum’s general sponsors are Ojar Aziya, one of Turkmenistan’s largest construction holdings, and John Deere, a global leader in agricultural machinery manufacturing. Their participation highlights the high level of the event and the readiness of key industry players to invest in and develop long-term strategic partnerships with Turkmenistan.
The forum’s program includes four key economic sectors:
Energy and construction,
Agriculture and agrotechnology,
Healthcare and pharmaceuticals,
Transport and infrastructure.
The agenda features thematic sessions and roundtable discussions that will allow participants to exchange experience, establish direct business contacts, and explore real joint projects. Attention will also be given to investment in innovation and sustainable development.
The Turkmenistan Economic Days in Frankfurt serve not only as a venue for presentations and negotiations but also as a demonstration of Turkmenistan’s openness to international investment. The forum confirms the country’s readiness to cooperate with leading European companies and build mutually beneficial, long-term partnerships based on trust, innovation, and stability.

Eastern regions of Turkmenistan have reported a steady increase in agricultural production. In Lebap province, the cultivation of melon and gourd crops during the first eleven months of the year rose by nearly 10 percent compared to the same period last year. Farmers harvested approximately 183 thousand tons, exceeding previous results by more than 15 thousand tons.
Across Turkmenistan, other branches of agriculture also demonstrated growth. Egg production increased by over 6 percent, surpassing 250 million units. Fruit and berry yields rose by nearly 6 percent, approaching 50 thousand tons, while vegetable production expanded by almost 5 percent, exceeding 312 thousand tons. Meat output grew by more than 2 percent to reach 153 thousand tons. In addition, Lebap province in Turkmenistan recorded up to a 2.2 percent increase in the production of cotton fiber, potatoes, grapes, milk, and meat products.
Livestock farming in Turkmenistan showed positive trends as well. The number of camels grew by nearly 2 percent, cattle numbers increased by more than 1,300 heads, and poultry stocks expanded by over 5,500 birds.
