Turkmenistan Discusses Promising Ways to Implement WHO's "Immunity Patrol" Program

A round table dedicated to the implementation of the WHO's "Immunity Patrol" digital program took place in the UN building in Ashgabat. The program aims to teach children the basics of immunity, hygiene, and disease prevention. Meeting participants discussed the creation of a working group to oversee the integration of the program into the curriculum, the development of an action plan for its implementation, and pilot testing of the offline version to improve accessibility. Training seminars for teachers are also planned. The program is an engaging interactive platform that teaches children through play. The integration of the program into the education system of Turkmenistan is an important step in raising medical literacy from an early age.

Turkmenistan sharply boosts soft drink exports to Kazakhstan

From January to October 2025, mutual trade between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan amounted to 404.7 million US dollars, according to data published by the Kazakh analytical platform LSM.

During the ten-month period, Turkmenistan significantly increased its exports to the neighboring country. Export volumes rose 2.3 times to 242.5 thousand tons, while their total value reached 156.3 million dollars. The most dramatic growth was recorded in the soft drinks sector, where shipments expanded more than eightfold. Exports of sulfuric acid increased by 4.1 times, and deliveries of household detergents grew by 31%.

Meanwhile, Turkmenistan’s imports of goods and services from Kazakhstan totaled 248.3 million dollars during the same period, marking a slight decrease of 0.9% year-on-year. At the same time, the physical volume of Kazakh exports to the Turkmen market increased by 29%, reaching 266 thousand tons.
