A delegation comprising officials from the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Ashgabat City Hokimlik is currently participating in the WTCF Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit, held from June 1 to 4 at the Zhongguancun International Innovation Center in Beijing. The main objective of the Turkmen representatives is to examine leading global frameworks and establish strategic cross-border professional networks. The high-level international event is systematically organized by the World Tourism Cities Federation.

This year's summit focuses heavily on modernization and operates under the official theme, "Smart Tourism — A Brighter Future." The dynamic platform connects key policy-makers, ministerial leaders, administrative officials, and corporate executives from 58 nations, representing more than 70 major global municipalities to discuss collaborative economic models and sustainable trade practices.

The primary discussions of the business agenda revolve around the strategic deployment of advanced digital technologies and artificial intelligence within the global hospitality market. The exhibition features practical innovations, including autonomous robotic tour guides, automated real-time translation programs, and cognitive software designed to customize travel experiences. Additionally, a newly formulated international digital competitiveness index was unveiled, ranking Beijing as the top smart tourism destination globally.

The active participation of Turkmenistan's experts is highly instrumental for adopting contemporary digital blueprints into the domestic hospitality infrastructure. The technical insights and structural strategies gathered during the four-day convention are anticipated to enhance urban management and accelerate the integration of "smart city" technologies across major metropolitan and cultural hubs in Turkmenistan.
