The capital of Kazakhstan recently hosted the scheduled meeting of the Committee of Chiefs of Command Centers of the Armed Forces of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states. According to an official report from the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, a delegation representing the Main Command Center of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan was present at this high-level military gathering.

Prior to the commencement of the official working sessions, the heads of the participating military delegations took part in a wreath-laying ceremony in the Kazakh capital. The international representatives gathered at the "Defenders of the Fatherland" monument to pay tribute to historical military personnel and express mutual respect among the partner nations.

The defense forum brought together senior military leadership from various countries, including delegations from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, alongside the Turkmen representatives. This broad institutional attendance reflects the high level of importance that regional partners place on direct communication between their military structures.

During the sessions, the participants held comprehensive discussions regarding the current military and political conditions influencing Eurasian and regional security architecture. The dialogue also covered future opportunities for enhancing defense coordination and joint operational assessments within the framework of the CIS defense partnership.
