Turkmenistan showcased its capabilities in natural gas exports and high-end textile manufacturing, specifically focusing on export-oriented fabrics. In return, Uganda presented opportunities in the food processing industry, highlighting its strengths in coffee production and poultry exports. Both parties agreed that fostering direct investment and establishing trade corridors would be mutually beneficial for their respective economies.

Academic and professional exchange also featured prominently in the negotiations. The delegations discussed establishing student exchange programs and fostering direct links between national universities and diplomatic training centers. To facilitate deeper commercial engagement, plans were outlined to host joint business forums and trade exhibitions, providing a platform for private sector representatives from both countries to network and explore untapped markets.

A pivotal move to streamline official communications involved the proposed implementation of a visa-free regime for holders of diplomatic and service passports. This initiative aims to facilitate more frequent state visits and technical missions between Ashgabat and Kampala.
