Turkmenistan Airlines to Resume Flights Between Ashgabat and Turkmenbashi in August
Starting August 11, Turkmenistan Airlines will resume regular flights on the Ashgabat – Turkmenbashi – Ashgabat route, according to the airline's updated domestic flight schedule.
Currently, the airline's flights departing from Ashgabat and other provinces of the country arrive at the International Airport of Balkanabat.
Under the new schedule, daily flights will be operated between the capital, Ashgabat, and the city of Turkmenbashi. Regular flights T5-241 and T5-247 will depart from Ashgabat at 06:20 and 18:20 respectively, with a flight time of approximately one hour.
Additionally, between August 11 and September 1, 2025, the airline will introduce extra flights:
T5-245 (daily at 10:40),
T5-249 (on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 22:05), and
T5-243 (on Thursdays at 22:40).
Return flights from Turkmenbashi to Ashgabat will follow a similar schedule. Regular flights T5-242 and T5-248 are scheduled for 08:30 and 20:30 respectively, while additional summer flights include T5-246 (12:40), T5-250, and T5-244 (depending on the day of the week — after midnight).
In addition to the Ashgabat–Turkmenbashi route, Turkmenistan Airlines continues to operate regular domestic flights to other major cities across the country, including Dashoguz, Turkmenabat, Mary, Balkanabat, and Kerki.
