Turkmenistan Airlines Granted Active Membership in TIACA
22 Nov. 09:17The joint-stock company “Turkmenistan Airlines” has been awarded active membership status in the International Air Cargo Association (TIACA), receiving the official certificate confirming its inclusion.
During Friday’s Cabinet meeting, Deputy Prime Minister M. Chakiyev reported that this development aligns with ongoing efforts to improve the logistics potential of civil aviation and strengthen Turkmenistan’s position within the global air cargo network.
As part of his report, Chakiyev submitted a proposal to the Head of State to establish cooperation with foreign airlines and expand international partnerships in the cargo aviation sector.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposal and instructed the deputy prime minister accordingly, according to TDH.

Designed to withstand heavy commercial transport up to 20 tons, real-world road testing is scheduled to begin in Japan in April 2027.
The technology eliminates the need for full road reconstruction, as modules can be integrated directly into milled asphalt layers. Aimed at boosting charging power up to 150 kW in future iterations, this infrastructure solution promise to significantly reduce grid pressure on traditional charging stations, particularly for logistics and commercial fleets.
