In line with its long-term foreign economic policy and cultural diplomacy framework, Turkmenistan is executing systemic preparations for its institutional participation in the upcoming World Exposition "EXPO — 2027." With less than a year remaining before the launch of this global forum, national working groups are accelerating structural measures to ensure a comprehensive presentation of the country's socio-economic achievements and investment climate.

The mega-event, hosted by the Republic of Serbia in Belgrade, is projected to attract delegates from over 120 nations and international organizations, establishing a massive multi-million-visitor platform for cross-border trade and technological exchange. The design, logistics, and spatial management of the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan are being centrally coordinated by the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, focusing on incorporating sustainable architectural formats and interactive digital technologies.

Aligned with the core global theme of the exposition, which highlights sports and music as unified catalysts for humanity, Turkmenistan’s pavilion will operate under a dedicated national narrative emphasizing global peace, public health infrastructure, and historical folklore. The display will provide global financiers and state officials with comprehensive insights into the country's modern industrial growth, urban development models, and ecological initiatives.

A significant highlight of the exposition's official itinerary will be the celebration of Turkmenistan's National Day during the opening stage of the forum. Securing an early priority slot for this national event serves as a strong indicator of the state's growing diplomatic prestige within international exhibition governance. Drawing from its previous successful engagement at "EXPO — 2025" in Osaka, Japan, the Turkmen delegation aims to utilize the Belgrade platform to catalyze new public-private partnerships, diversify its export routes, and expand bilateral commercial ties.
