A delegation representing the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, consisting of vocational school students and academic coordinators, attended the "International Skills Forum Tajikistan – 2026" held in the Dangara district of the Khatlon region. This regional championship operates in strict compliance with the core principles and evaluation metrics of the global WorldSkills movement. The forum serves as an institutional mechanism designed to facilitate cross-border expertise exchange and define career paths for young technical talents.

The industrial competition brought together young technical experts from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, the People's Republic of China, and Turkey on a single synchronized platform. Competitors demonstrated their technical operational capabilities across several functional sectors, including electrotechnical installations, plastering and masonry works, electric and gas welding, and the maintenance and calibration of advanced solar energy equipment.

According to the official results certified by the jury, Nepes Rahmanberdiyev, a student from the Ashgabat Vocational Building School under the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan, secured second place in the overall standings. Concurrently, Ymamberdi Sohbetov, representing the Ashgabat Vocational Energy School under the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan, delivered a strong performance, successfully ranking within the top four technical specialists in his designated category.

Throughout the theoretical sessions of the forum, international delegates discussed strategies for developing modern vocational curricula aligned with fluctuating labor market demands and cross-border employer expectations. A key pedagogical component of the itinerary was a structured site visit to the Nurek Hydroelectric Power Plant. This industrial field trip allowed the young engineers to observe the practical execution of electrical and structural maintenance workflows within a large-scale power generation facility.
