A delegation of schoolchildren from Turkmenistan achieved remarkable success at the International Mathematics and Science Olympiad held in Noida, India. Hosted by Amity University from May 25 to 30, the competition brought together high school students to test their expertise in rigorous academic disciplines. The Turkmen team distinguished itself by winning several gold, silver, and bronze medals across various scientific categories.

The competition structure required participants to excel in both theoretical and laboratory components of mathematics, physics, and chemistry. In the mathematics division, Muhammetmyrat Muhammedov, an 11th-grade student from Specialized School No. 6, clinched a gold medal. Similarly, Mehdi Shemmiyev, a 9th-grade student from School No. 79, delivered a top-tier performance in physics to earn another gold for the national team.

The achievements continued in the field of chemistry, where Halylmyrat Gurbanmyradov from Specialized School No. 87 secured both gold and silver medals. Furthermore, students from Specialized School No. 86, Shatlyk Jumageldiyev and Yakup Nuriyev, contributed to the overall success by winning silver and bronze medals, demonstrating the comprehensive academic strength of the country’s young scientists.

The successful preparation of the students was overseen by expert instructors Dortguly Gylyjov and Meretguly Gurbanov from the "Gujurly Bilim Merkezi" education center. These victories on the international stage reflect the significant emphasis placed on high-quality STEM education in Turkmenistan and the growing competitive potential of its youth in the global academic arena.
