Representatives from the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan took part in a two-day international conference on labor migration issues in Brussels, held within the framework of the Prague Process. The event brought together representatives from government agencies, international organizations, and EU institutions, including the European Commission and the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD). The primary goal of the meeting was to discuss contemporary trends and practical tools for managing labor and legal migration, as well as to exchange experiences among participating nations.

During the thematic sessions and roundtable discussions, the Turkmen side presented its national experience in regulating migration processes, placing special emphasis on the implementation of innovative approaches and digital solutions within the migration management system. Turkmenistan showcased its proactive commitment to modernizing the migration framework, which includes the expansion of e-government services and the optimization of interagency data exchange.

Participants were provided with detailed insights into Turkmenistan's ongoing efforts to modernize its migration infrastructure, including the improvement of interdepartmental coordination and the efficiency of data sharing among state agencies. These efforts are designed to ensure a transparent, secure, and technologically advanced environment for migration management.

Following the discussions, international experts and representatives of participating states praised the institutional development level of Turkmenistan's migration system. The feedback highlighted the effectiveness of Turkmenistan's digital transformation and its alignment with international best practices, marking a significant step forward in international cooperation on labor migration.
