On March 31, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Batyr Rejepov, met with Zhandos Shaimardanov, Director of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KazISS) under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the participants engaged in a constructive dialogue regarding the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation, while also exchanging views on key issues of regional and international importance.

Special emphasis was placed on Turkmenistan's pivotal role in promoting sustainable development within the region. The Director of KazISS expressed confidence that Ashgabat's proactive stance and creative initiatives would be essential for the success of the upcoming Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia. Ambassador Rejepov highlighted the high level of interstate relations, which are built upon long-standing principles of good neighborliness, mutual respect, and trust.

The meeting underscored the importance of further strengthening ties between the expert and scientific-analytical communities of both nations. As both countries celebrate the 35th anniversary of their Independence this year, an agreement was reached to organize a series of joint events aimed at fostering closer relations between the two brotherly nations and enhancing intellectual exchange.
