Türkiye’s Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, attended the opening ceremony of the 12th Turkish Export Products Exhibition held in Turkmenistan. During his remarks, he stated that bilateral trade volume between the two countries reached 2.2 billion US dollars in 2025. The long-term objective, he added, is to raise this figure to 5 billion dollars.
The event was also attended by Turkmenistan’s Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Nokerguly Atagulyev.
Bolat emphasized that economic and commercial relations between the two nations have become more dynamic and diversified as cooperation continues to deepen. Despite ongoing global economic challenges, he described the current trade results as encouraging.
He further noted that Presidents Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Serdar Berdimuhamedov have set a joint target of increasing bilateral trade to 5 billion dollars as soon as possible, with efforts underway to achieve this goal.
According to the minister, Turkish exporters and business associations are participating in the exhibition with 87 booths covering a total area of 1,396 square meters. Such broad representation is expected to further strengthen economic ties between the two countries.

The school district allocated $13.9 million from its overall budget to combat unexcused absences. The program maintains strict criteria: a single unexcused absence during any given school week forfeits the student's eligibility for that week's reward.
