Following the conclusion of the official bilateral talks in Baku, a ceremony for the handover of the new "Dostluk" oil tanker was held at the "Zagulba" Palace via video link. The event was attended by the Presidents of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan, alongside members of both official delegations. At the beginning of the event, the Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, R. Nabiyev, presented a detailed briefing on the technical specifications and operational capacities of the new vessel. Following the report, the two heads of state officially launched the tanker into operation by pressing a dedicated control button, and the deployment of the vessel was broadcast live on screens. After the video presentation concluded, the President of Azerbaijan formally presented the international registration certificate of the oil tanker to the President of Turkmenistan.
