The President of the Republic of Sao Tome and Principe arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in LLDC3
Today, a delegation from the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe, headed by President Mr. Carlos Manuel Vila Nova, arrived in the city of Turkmenbashy to participate in the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.
As reported on the website of "Turkmenistan Airlines", the plane with the high-ranking guest landed at the Turkmenbashy International Airport, where President Carlos Manuel Vila Nova and his accompanying delegation were solemnly greeted in the best traditions of Turkmen hospitality.
The Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe is an island state in the Gulf of Guinea of the Atlantic Ocean, located 300 km west of the coast of the African continent. The country's economy, traditionally dependent on cocoa cultivation, has recently undergone significant changes associated with investments in the development of oil fields in the waters of the Gulf of Guinea.
The participation of the President of the Republic of Sao Tome and Principe in the UN forum opens up opportunities for developing mutually beneficial cooperation with landlocked developing countries and developing common solutions on important issues on the global agenda.

A solemn opening ceremony of the automobile bridge over Garabogaz Bay was held in Turkmenistan, timed to coincide with the Day of Workers in the Construction and Industrial Complex, celebrated on November 3.
As reported by the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan," the construction contractor was the Ukrainian company "Altkom." The bridge meets international quality standards and technical operation norms.
The bridge spans 354 m in length and 21 m in width. The two-way roadway is designed for vehicles with a carrying capacity of 40-50 tons. Construction utilized sulfate-resistant cement, reinforced concrete structures, and other high-strength materials ensuring resistance to corrosion, deformation, and seismic loads.
The new structure is intended to provide high throughput in international freight road transport. At the opening ceremony, it was noted that the bridge symbolizes good neighborliness and friendship among the peoples of the region.
