Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, chaired a regular session of the Council of Elders under the Halk Maslahaty and the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. As reported by the "Watan" news program, the session evaluated the performance metrics of regional educational and social advocacy initiatives led by local elders, while establishing core frameworks for expanding high-level humanitarian principles.

The working agenda focused extensively on raising the socioeconomic standards of living across rural and urban municipalities. The participants exchanged strategic viewpoints on improving civic infrastructure, providing structural financial and social cushions for large families, and implementing comprehensive care systems for orphaned or vulnerable children. To streamline these nationwide social development plans, the council finalized and approved a series of targeted institutional resolutions.

North Carolina resident Christian Breton has secured a major lottery payout for the second time. According to Lottery Post, he has decided to donate a portion of his winnings to support school-aged children from low-income families in his local community.

After purchasing a $30 "$100,000 Cash Payday" scratch-off ticket, Breton claimed the $100,000 top prize, taking home $72,000 after taxes. This marks his second major win, following a $2 million prize in August 2024. Breton shared that while his previous winnings went toward helping his mother, his goal this time is to give back to the community by supporting families in need.
