Scientists from the UK Met Office have concluded that global climate patterns have shifted so dramatically that weather conditions typical of the early 20th century can no longer be restored. This was reported by "The Guardian", citing the annual "State of the UK Climate" report.

According to researchers, the most noticeable climate transformations have occurred in southeast England. Compared to the beginning of the last century, the frequency of extremely hot days and warm nights has risen significantly. The authors of the report state that the current British climate is no longer comparable to that of the 20th century. "The data shows that the climate of the 1900s has already vanished," the report notes. This irreversibility represents a wider global trend, with scientists worldwide warning that traditional climate norms from the past century have officially become obsolete.
