The delegation of Turkmenistan participated in the international eco-forum
A delegation from Turkmenistan, headed by Deputy Prime Minister N.H. Atagulyyev, took part in the international environmental conference held on July 24–26 in the Altai Republic, Russian Federation. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The main topics of the conference included climate change, the development of national economies, and the preservation of biodiversity.
In his speech at the conference, N.H. Atagulyyev drew participants' attention to the key directions of Turkmenistan’s environmental policy, aimed at ensuring environmental safety, sustainable development, and the preservation of the country’s natural heritage.
He also spoke about the international environmental conventions Turkmenistan has joined, the country’s specially protected natural areas, ongoing tree-planting initiatives, and the introduction of innovative, water-saving, and waste-free technologies in the agro-industrial and industrial sectors, as well as the development of renewable energy sources and other activities, the source noted.

A solemn opening ceremony of the automobile bridge over Garabogaz Bay was held in Turkmenistan, timed to coincide with the Day of Workers in the Construction and Industrial Complex, celebrated on November 3.
As reported by the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan," the construction contractor was the Ukrainian company "Altkom." The bridge meets international quality standards and technical operation norms.
The bridge spans 354 m in length and 21 m in width. The two-way roadway is designed for vehicles with a carrying capacity of 40-50 tons. Construction utilized sulfate-resistant cement, reinforced concrete structures, and other high-strength materials ensuring resistance to corrosion, deformation, and seismic loads.
The new structure is intended to provide high throughput in international freight road transport. At the opening ceremony, it was noted that the bridge symbolizes good neighborliness and friendship among the peoples of the region.
