The past week’s trading sessions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) concluded with the registration of 29 commercial transactions. The total value of export agreements reached with international buyers amounted to over 13 million 889 thousand US dollars. These figures highlight the continued expansion of the country's export activities and the growing international demand for local industrial goods.

A significant portion of the international trade was focused on the petrochemical and energy sectors. Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Georgia, and Uzbekistan secured contracts for polypropylene, base oil, and liquefied gas produced by the "Turkmennebit" and "Turkmengaz" State Concerns. These resources remain vital for regional energy security and industrial manufacturing processes.

The textile industry also played a key role in the week's trading success. Entrepreneurs from the UAE, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan purchased a variety of textile goods, including plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, as well as dyed and denim fabrics. The successful sale of these commodities underlines the high quality and marketability of Turkmenistan’s light industry output on the global market.

Domestic commercial activity showed strong performance as well, with local business owners purchasing essential materials for the national market. Transactions involving polypropylene, base oil, and packaging film from the "Turkmennebit" concern totaled more than 26 million 251 thousand manats. This internal trade volume supports the growth of domestic production facilities and ensures a steady supply of industrial raw materials for local enterprises.
