President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will soon visit Uzbekistan. This is stated in the message of Uzbek leader Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed to the head of Turkmenistan. The text of the letter is quoted by the TDH agency.

In his message, Mirziyoyev congratulated Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the successful holding of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which was held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone in Turkmenbashi.

“This international conference is a clear practical confirmation of how the authority and prestige of neutral Turkmenistan in the international arena is steadily growing every year,” the President of Uzbekistan noted.

The message pays special attention to the adoption of the Avaza Political Declaration and the approval of a ten-year action program aimed at strengthening the economic interconnectedness of developing countries and increasing their transit potential.

Mirziyoyev also expressed gratitude for awarding him with the highest state award of Turkmenistan – the Order of "Hyzmatdaşlygy ösdürmäge goşandy üçin" ("For Contribution to the Development of Cooperation"). According to the leader of Uzbekistan, he perceives this award as a symbol of friendship between the fraternal peoples.

"I am deeply convinced that your upcoming high-level visit to our country will allow us to take the relations of good-neighborliness and strategic partnership between our countries to a completely new level," Mirziyoyev emphasized.
