The Organizing Committee for the 2030 Winter Games, scheduled to take place in the French Alps, has officially unveiled the logos for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games. The newly introduced design concepts draw direct inspiration from core mountainous environmental elements, namely the purity of alpine ice and the radiance of natural light. The color palette features midnight blue and light blue to represent height and stability, complemented by subtle red and pink hues that replicate the sun's rays illuminating the mountain peaks.
According to Edgar Grospiron, the head of the organizing committee, the Olympic emblem (composed of 8 blue lines) and the Paralympic symbol (comprising 16 lines) are architecturally integrated to form a unified square silhouette. This visual synergy reflects a core commitment to granting equal space, visibility, and celebration to both the Olympic and Paralympic movements. The International Olympic Committee previously awarded the 2030 winter hosting rights to France, while the subsequent 2034 Winter Games are slated to be hosted by Salt Lake City in the United States.

FC Barcelona and Spain midfielder Gavi (Pablo Paéz Gavira) is donating approximately €1.3 million to fund the construction of 150 homes for homeless and low-income individuals. The project will take place in his hometown of Los Palacios y Villafranca, located in the province of Seville.
According to Spanish media outlets, the development is designed to shelter around 300 people who face financial difficulties in purchasing or renting a home. The initiative is a purely charitable endeavor funded entirely by the footballer rather than a commercial real estate investment.
Specific details regarding construction timelines and eligibility criteria for housing recipients will be announced in subsequent phases of the project.
