During a recent government meeting, a proposal to construct a new, state-of-the-art marketplace in the Farap district of the Lebap region was officially approved. This project is part of a national program aimed at modernizing the country's commercial sector and ensuring that high-demand goods remain accessible to the population. The new facility will serve as a key hub for local trade, enhancing the shopping experience for residents in the eastern part of the country.

In addition to infrastructure development, the region is set to see a significant expansion in private manufacturing. Plans are underway to launch 12 new private production enterprises in the Lebap region shortly. This industrial expansion is projected to create over 300 new jobs, providing a substantial boost to the local economy and supporting the growth of the private sector within the framework of national economic diversification.

The existing commercial landscape of the region is robust, comprising hundreds of state-owned trade outlets, catering points, and production facilities. Complementing the state sector, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan operate dozens of specialized facilities, while the "Türkmenhaly" state association continues its production activities. This mixed economic model ensures a steady supply of domestic products and fosters a competitive environment in the retail market.

Modernizing the material and technical base through digitalization is a high priority for the national trade sector. Special attention is being paid to the integration of e-commerce platforms and delivery services to streamline the consumer experience. Following the official report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedow emphasized that maintaining a well-stocked domestic market remains a top priority, directing officials to continue diversifying the range of services provided to meet the evolving needs of the region's inhabitants.

FC Barcelona and Spain midfielder Gavi (Pablo Paéz Gavira) is donating approximately €1.3 million to fund the construction of 150 homes for homeless and low-income individuals. The project will take place in his hometown of Los Palacios y Villafranca, located in the province of Seville.

According to Spanish media outlets, the development is designed to shelter around 300 people who face financial difficulties in purchasing or renting a home. The initiative is a purely charitable endeavor funded entirely by the footballer rather than a commercial real estate investment.

Specific details regarding construction timelines and eligibility criteria for housing recipients will be announced in subsequent phases of the project.
