Turkmenistan and Belarus have reached concrete agreements for the direct supply of Belarusian goods following a successful business mission held from March 14 to 20. According to the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the visit resulted in several key contracts aimed at diversifying bilateral trade. These agreements signal a new phase of economic integration between the two nations.

Under the new arrangements, Belarus will begin exporting sausage products and alcoholic beverages to the Turkmen market. In return, the parties explored opportunities for the procurement of fresh Turkmen fruits and vegetables for export to Belarus. Furthermore, technical discussions took place regarding the implementation of Belarusian software solutions within the IT systems of several Turkmen banks, highlighting a growing partnership in the digital sector.

During a meeting with the Belarusian Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Stanislav Chepurny, the delegation finalized essential logistical and legal frameworks for future operations. They focused on establishing reliable supply chains and payment conditions to ensure a smooth market entry for Belarusian enterprises. This strategic planning is expected to minimize operational risks and foster a stable environment for international commerce.

The mission also included a tour of the Ashgabat Textile Complex and visits to various member enterprises of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The delegation participated in the IFT 2026 exhibition, marking the 18th anniversary of the Union, where productive B2B negotiations were held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. These high-level interactions have laid the groundwork for expanded industrial cooperation and systemic partnership across multiple industries.
