The President of Turkmenistan has signed a decree establishing new administrative districts (etraps) in four velayats, as reported by TDH. This move supports the implementation of national development strategies through 2028.
The newly formed etraps and their administrations include:

Altyn Asyr in Ahal velayat;

Garaşsyzlyk and Gubadag in Dashoguz velayat;
-
Farap, Döwletli, and Garabekewül in Lebap velayat;
-
Oguzhan in Mary velayat.
Regional administrations are instructed to collaborate with the Ministries of Finance and Economy, Labor and Social Protection, and Adalat (Justice) to develop organizational structures and staffing plans for submission to the Cabinet of Ministers.
These reforms align with:

The Presidential Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan (2022–2028);
-
The revised National Program to Improve Living Conditions of the Population.

Dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence, the event brought together thousands of music enthusiasts. Following their stage performances, the international guest artists expressed deep admiration for Ashgabat's urban aesthetic and the warm hospitality extended by the Turkmen public.
