Today, international meteorological observation networks officially registered the highest ambient temperature recorded globally since the beginning of 2026. In the Dehloran district of Iran, local monitoring stations documented an extreme temperature of 52.1 degrees Celsius. This reading officially marks the hottest day on Earth so far this year, underscoring the severe and escalating climate dynamics observed across the Middle East and surrounding regions.

While this heatwave sets a definitive milestone for 2026, it remains just below Iran’s absolute historical record, which was established in 2017 when temperatures peaked at an unprecedented 53.7 degrees Celsius. Nonetheless, today's extreme measurement in Dehloran serves as a stark indicator of shifting global baselines and the increasing frequency of intense summer thermal anomalies.

Weather experts had previously issued warnings regarding the potential for unprecedented heatwaves during July due to volatile atmospheric patterns. According to reports published by "MIR 24", the current extreme heat is straining local utility grids and has prompted civil authorities to advise residents to take vital precautions against heat exhaustion and minimize outdoor activities during peak daylight hours.

Simple Vitamin Shows Surprising Results in Pre-Cancerous Blood Conditions, Study Finds

Daily high-dose supplementation of vitamin C can significantly reduce mortality risks and help prevent severe medical complications in patients with pre-cancerous blood conditions. Researchers from the Van Andel Institute in the United States and Copenhagen University Hospital in Denmark reached this conclusion following a comprehensive three-year follow-up study. The international "EVITA" trial involved volunteers who were administered 1,000 mg of vitamin C daily over the course of a year, while a control group received a placebo.

Although initial hypotheses suggested vitamin C might directly inhibit abnormal cell proliferation, researchers found its primary benefit lay in strengthening the body, reducing systemic inflammation, and lowering rates of anemia, pneumonia, and internal bleeding. Over the three-year observation period, the vitamin C group exhibited a significantly higher survival rate compared to the placebo group. While experts emphasize that these findings remain preliminary and require larger clinical trials before reshaping formal medical treatment protocols, vitamin C continues to show promising potential in supportive patient care.
