More than 18.5 kilometers of roads have been laid in the new settlement in northern Turkmenistan

In the new modern settlement within the territory of the “Taze Ýol” geneşlik in Kunyaurgench district of Daşoguz province, more than eighteen and a half kilometers of internal and access roads have been laid.

According to “Turkmenistan: Golden Age,” the gravel base has been completed on all roads, asphalt paving and installation of concrete curbs are nearing completion.

The construction of the settlement is nearing completion. The road paving is being carried out by specialists from the “Daşoguz Road Construction, Maintenance and Production Enterprise.”

The transport network of the new settlement also includes newly built automobile bridges over the Khan-yab canal and a nearby drainage collector.

The new settlement in Kunyaurgench district will fully comply with all modern construction standards and will be equipped with necessary social, cultural, and industrial facilities, comfortable housing, and various engineering and technical communications.

The source notes that the settlement will complement large new residential complexes built in the region in recent years, such as:

  • The new village “Bagtyyar zaman,” commissioned in 2016 and located on an area of 144 hectares;

  • The residential complex on Shagadam street in Daşoguz, commissioned in 2021;

  • The residential housing complex in Daşoguz, commissioned at the end of last year and located on an area of 71 hectares.

Over 100 Mobile Shops Operate in Balkan Region for New Year Celebrations

With the efforts of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the Balkan Regional Consumer Societies Union, and the local branch of the Turkmenistan Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Association, all retail outlets in the region have expanded their festive offerings. Residents and visitors can find a wide variety of food, industrial goods, and gift items.

Markets are adorned with fresh produce, sparkling globes, garlands, toys, candles, Christmas trees, and other gifts that capture the festive spirit. Modern greenhouses in Gyzylarbat, Magtymguly, Bereket districts, as well as in the cities of Balkanabat and Turkmenbashi, supply fresh vegetables and greens for the shelves of mobile trade points. High-quality meat, dairy products, vegetables, and fruits are sold at affordable prices. Beautifully packaged New Year gifts attract considerable interest from buyers.

To meet public demand, the Balkan Regional Consumer Societies Union has opened more than 100 mobile trade points across all districts and cities of the region. These mobile shops will operate until January 3, 2026, according to the «Türkmenistan» newspaper.
