The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliyev, has arrived in Ashgabat on an official working visit. The high-ranking dignitary and his accompanying delegation were formally received by state officials at the Ashgabat International Airport. This visit reflects the ongoing diplomatic engagement and strong bilateral ties between the two Central Asian nations.

The primary objective of the Kyrgyz Prime Minister’s visit is to participate in the upcoming session of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), scheduled to take place in the Turkmen capital on May 22. This major regional forum brings together top executive officials from member states to coordinate policy and foster multilateral integration across the region.

The agenda for the upcoming ministerial-level assembly covers a broad spectrum of strategic cooperation sectors. Delegates will focus heavily on expanding trade and economic partnerships, optimizing regional supply chains, and deepening cultural and humanitarian exchanges between the participating countries. Joint efforts to address regional socioeconomic stability will also be a major point of discussion.

In addition to attending the main plenary sessions of the CIS Council, Prime Minister Kasymaliyev is expected to engage in several high-level bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit. These separate discussions will allow the Kyrgyz leadership to negotiate specific mutual agreements with Turkmenistan and other regional counterparts, focusing on trade, energy, and logistics cooperation.
