01 Jul. 06:36An official state delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan, led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Yermek Kosherbayev, has arrived in the capital of Turkmenistan for a two-day diplomatic visit. The high-level deployment is structurally designed to expand bilateral and regional integration, with upcoming sessions focusing on political coordination and socio-economic alignment.
The visiting Kazakh diplomatic core was formally received at the Ashgabat International Airport by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Serdar Muhammetdurdyev, along with senior protocol officers. The operational schedule for the opening day of the state visit was explicitly dedicated to historical-cultural events and honoring shared regional heritage.
Immediately following their arrival in Ashgabat, Yermek Kosherbayev and his accompanying officials proceeded to the "Lachyn" park sector to participate in a formal flower-laying ceremony at the monument of Abay Kunanbayev, the iconic Kazakh poet, philosopher, and intellectual. This newly established urban monument serves as an institutional symbol of enduring cultural ties and mutual respect between the neighboring populations.
The foreign delegation subsequently traveled to the Independence Monument of Turkmenistan, where they deposited ceremonial wreaths at the base of the architectural complex. The state representatives reviewed the historical background of the facility, which systematically documents the sovereignty and socioeconomic progression of the host country.
During the evening hours, the Kazakh dignitaries toured the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. A comprehensive curatorial guided tour introduced the foreign officials to rare archaeological discoveries, ancient ethnographic textiles, and unique historical exhibits illustrating the thousands-of-years evolutionary timeline of the Turkmen nation.
The ministerial delegation overseen by Yermek Kosherbayev incorporates senior directors and chief executive officers from the primary divisions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan. The second day of the official visit will transition into targeted inter-governmental negotiations and strategic policy reporting.
