The Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan has launched an open international tender for the repair of power units No. 1 and No. 3 at the Mary State Power Plant. The tender also covers the procurement of essential spare parts required for the maintenance and optimization of these units. This project is a critical step in the ongoing effort to modernize the nation's energy sector, ensuring the continued efficiency of one of Turkmenistan's largest power generation facilities.

A specific component of the tender, identified as Lot No. 2, focuses on general plant technological equipment and its spare parts. Prospective bidders are required to submit their written applications to the Ministry of Energy located at 55, 2022 (Bitarap Turkmenistan) Street, Ashgabat. Applications must include detailed information regarding the company's legal status, country of registration, and banking details. Notably, the Ministry has stated that applications from companies registered in offshore jurisdictions will not be considered.

To participate in the bidding process, companies must pay a non-refundable fee of 500 USD or its equivalent in Turkmen manats (excluding VAT). The tender proposals must be submitted in two separate, sealed envelopes containing the technical and price specifications respectively. The deadline for submission is 30 working days from the official date of publication in the "Neutral Turkmenistan" newspaper, with a daily cutoff time of 4:00 PM local time.

The submission must also include digital formats (Word and Excel) of the technical-economic specifications and the draft contract terms.
