International Scientific Conference on Architecture and Smart Urbanism Concludes in Ashgabat

Conducted via an advanced digital video-link system, the global forum brought together distinguished academic professors, scientific researchers, and corporate engineering experts. The assembly functioned as a strategic environment to evaluate contemporary infrastructure methodologies and showcase technological breakthroughs in construction.
The global event attracted widespread participation from academic and corporate bodies across various nations, including the United States, several European Union states, the Commonwealth of Independent States, and various Asian republics. International delegates utilized this collaborative platform to share specialized data regarding global construction trends and automated building systems. The discussion also focused heavily on highlighting the recent civil engineering milestones achieved in host country's capital expansion.
During the structural plenary sessions, environmental sustainability and its correlation with modern urban expansion remained a primary focus. International environmental policy experts representing European Union clean energy initiatives presented comprehensive data on incorporating renewable energy matrixes into high-density urban areas. The research emphasized that utilizing alternative power sources plays a decisive role in reducing urban carbon footprints and ensuring long-term ecological balance.
The academic summit was subdivided into multiple specialized analytical panels to address distinct industry criteria. Panelists thoroughly debated subjects concerning architectural engineering innovations, advanced composite materials, spatial planning, and digital design integration. Specialists at the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, led by Durdymyrat Gadamov and Altyn Rahmanova, have developed a new-generation bio-agent designed to neutralize soil methane emissions. The solution utilizes local bacteria adapted to the regional climate, which harness methane monooxygenase to convert methane into carbon dioxide and water.
Methane is a major contributor to global warming, with a heat-trapping capacity in the atmosphere significantly higher than that of carbon dioxide. The newly developed bio-agent features high efficiency in industrially congested areas, cost-effectiveness through the use of local raw materials, and complete safety for human health and the environment.
This scientific breakthrough aligns with Turkmenistan's sustainable development strategy, supporting its commitments under the Global Methane Pledge to enhance environmental oversight in the energy sector.
