The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan has launched the 3rd International Competition titled "International Relations: Culture of Peaceful Dialogue." This intellectual forum aims to foster cooperative spirit among aspiring diplomats and provides a stage for academic excellence in foreign policy. The event highlights the growing role of youth in shaping international diplomatic discourse.

Participants from nine countries, including the United Kingdom, China, Russia, Iran, and Central Asian nations, have arrived in Ashgabat for the event. More than 40 international students representing 13 elite universities are competing alongside 117 students from local Turkmen institutions. This diverse representation underscores the tournament’s significance as a hub for international educational exchange and professional networking.

The competition’s agenda focuses on the importance of international efforts to maintain peace and the strategic use of diplomatic mechanisms. Students are exploring ways to utilize the authority of the United Nations to reach mutually acceptable solutions for global challenges. Discussions also touched upon Turkmenistan’s initiatives in energy security, environmental protection, and food safety, rooted in its policy of permanent neutrality.

The event features a comprehensive cultural program, allowing participants to explore Turkmenistan's national heritage. A visit to the State Museum of the State Cultural Center provided the guests with insights into the country’s ancient history and modern milestones. Such integration of academic competition and cultural immersion helps build lasting bridges between young leaders from across the globe.
