The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted an extensive scientific and practical conference focused on the nation’s foreign policy and its role in global security. Conducted in a hybrid format, the event facilitated a comprehensive dialogue on leveraging diplomacy to foster peace and sustainable development. This high-level gathering served as a significant venue for assessing the impact of regional cooperation on international stability.

The symposium attracted representatives from 20 nations, including delegates from the United States, China, Germany, Turkey, and various CIS countries. Out of nearly 90 foreign participants, about half joined the discussions via digital platforms, while the rest attended the sessions in person. This international presence was complemented by over 150 local academics, researchers, and senior faculty members who shared their insights on the evolving landscape of global politics.

The conference agenda was structured into specialized thematic sessions covering international law, economic diplomacy, and cultural exchange. Participants highlighted the strategic importance of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, viewing it as a vital mechanism for promoting peaceful coexistence and constructive engagement. Discussions also delved into the methodology of training future diplomats, emphasizing the integration of global academic standards into national curricula.
