On Tuesday, April 28, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) hosted a series of high-stakes trading sessions involving international and domestic entrepreneurs. The auction showcased a diverse range of national industrial products, attracting significant interest from foreign buyers looking for high-quality raw materials and finished goods. This session further highlights Turkmenistan's role as a key supplier in the regional Eurasian market.

Foreign entrepreneurs from four different nations finalized major export contracts during the session. Afghan businessmen secured deals for "SN-600" grade base oil produced by the "Turkmennebit" State Concern. Additionally, representatives from the United Arab Emirates invested in raw silk, while business circles from Turkey and Ukraine focused their acquisitions on cotton yarn and various textile products, respectively.

The domestic market segment also saw active participation, with local entrepreneurs closing deals with the Ministry of Textile Industry. These transactions were focused on procurement for the domestic retail and manufacturing sectors, supporting the government's initiative to boost internal trade and industrial self-sufficiency. The exchange serves as a transparent mechanism for facilitating these critical commercial interactions.

At the close of the trading day, a total of five transactions were officially registered. The overall financial turnover of the session amounted to 4,406,000.00 Turkmen manats and 220,355.00 US dollars. These figures reflect the steady demand for Turkmen energy and light industry products on the global stage, reinforcing the country's strategic economic diversification goals.
