Today, on the final day of his friendly visit to the People's Republic of China, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held a meeting with members of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Association and Chinese fans of Akhal-Teke horses. Prior to the meeting, the National Leader toured an art exhibition organized at the administrative building of the International Equestrian Complex. The exhibition featured various artworks celebrating the elegance and historical significance of the legendary Akhal-Teke breed.

The founder of the International Equestrian Complex, Wang Jian, opened the meeting by expressing his profound gratitude to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for visiting the complex. He highlighted the National Leader's global reputation as a distinguished expert in the field of equestrianism. In his speech, the National Leader noted that horses have traditionally held a place of honor in the histories and cultures of both the Turkmen and Chinese peoples, serving as enduring symbols of grace and endurance along the Great Silk Road.

During the meeting, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov spoke about the recent gift of an Akhal-Teke horse named "Gadyrly" to President Xi Jinping on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. He recalled that twelve years ago, another horse named "Gahryman" was presented to the Chinese leader, emphasizing that such gestures reflect the deep mutual trust and the strengthening of strategic partnership between the two nations. These "heavenly horses" continue to play a unique role in international diplomacy and cultural exchange.

The National Leader shared detailed insights into the unique characteristics and breeding traditions of the Akhal-Teke horses, which are considered a treasure of world heritage. At the conclusion of the event, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in a commemorative photo session with members of the Chinese equestrian delegation. Following a warm farewell, the National Leader departed for the Beijing Capital International Airport (Shoudu) to return to Turkmenistan, successfully concluding a visit that has significantly bolstered the ties between the two friendly countries.
