The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, held a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi. During the call, the two sides reviewed pressing issues related to bilateral cooperation and areas of shared interest, according to the foreign ministry.
At the outset of the discussion, the ministers exchanged greetings on the occasion of Nowruz, extending wishes of peace, prosperity, and continued progress to the peoples of both nations.
Humanitarian matters were also highlighted. The Iranian side expressed appreciation to Turkmenistan for assistance provided to Iranian children through a charitable foundation named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow. The Iranian minister noted that this initiative reflects goodwill and underscores the importance of humanitarian cooperation in bilateral relations.
