A particularly troubling trend is developing among young professionals aged 15 to 24, where the unemployment count expanded by 44,000 individuals. Critically, approximately 83% of these young job seekers hold higher education degrees, indicating a significant mismatch in the professional sector.

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate has climbed to 10,8%, marking a notable 1.5 percentage point increase year-over-year.
