Young midfielder Denis Titov has officially made his first appearance for the senior squad of FC Rostov. This milestone occurred during the opening fixture of the Russian Cup group stage against Akron Tolyatti. The match, held in Samara, concluded in a decisive 4:0 victory for Rostov, with goals scored by Olakunle Olusegun, Yaroslav Mikhailov, Imran Aznaurov, and Daniil Prokhin.

The 19-year-old athlete began his football development at the age of six at the Phoenix football academy in Ashgabat. His foundational training was guided by Batyr Berdiyev, brother of the renowned manager Kurban Berdiyev. The skills acquired during his early years in Turkmenistan enabled the player to perform successfully at an international youth tournament in Jordan in 2022, which subsequently attracted interest from scouts in Rostov-on-Don.

Prior to earning his senior debut, the midfielder progressed through the club's youth development structure and gained competitive experience via loan spells. His track record includes scoring 8 goals in 23 appearances for Rostov's youth team, as well as a stint in the Russian First League with Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk. A three-year period within the Rostov framework prepared the player for integration into first-team fixtures.

The player maintains a strong connection to his hometown of Ashgabat, where his immediate family resides. Football continues to run in the family, as his older brother, Mikhail Titov, currently plays for the Kyrgyz club Uzgen and receives regular call-ups to the Turkmenistan national team.
