A ceremonial commemorative meal (sadaka) was hosted in Arkadag City to mark the issuance of the official registration certificate for the city's new major mosque. Following public proposals and civic recommendations, the spiritual complex was officially registered by the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan under the name "Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi."

The announcement follows a recent working visit by the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who inspected architectural plans and development projects for the second phase of the city's construction. During the inspection, it was confirmed that legal registration had been completed for the 30,000-capacity spiritual facility.

The commemorative gathering was held at the "Märkaw" Cultural and Entertainment Center, attended by community elders, religious leaders, and public representatives. The Grand Mufti of Turkmenistan led prayers for national unity, economic prosperity, and the continued well-being and success of the country's leadership in advancing state initiatives.

Following the ceremonial meal and religious recitations, the participating elders proceeded to the Gökdepe Mosque to perform Friday prayers. The congregation included Quranic recitations and prayers dedicated to maintaining peace, social harmony, and national stability across the country.
