The Turkmen branch of the China National Petroleum Corporation has launched a major recruitment campaign to support the fourth phase of the Galkynysh gas field development. This turn-key project involves the comprehensive engineering, design, and construction of natural gas processing facilities, alongside extensive well drilling operations. Once operational, the newly established infrastructure is projected to deliver an annual commercial output of 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas.

The recruitment drive spans a diverse array of technical, administrative, and support roles to satisfy the operational needs of the enterprise. Openings are available for drilling engineers, occupational health and safety experts, legal advisors, financial analysts, procurement specialists, and human resources personnel. Additionally, the company is hiring IT technicians, translators, secretaries, logistics coordinators, drivers, security personnel, maintenance staff, and kitchen assistants. The vacant positions are based in Ashgabat and Mary.

To qualify for consideration, applicants must meet specific professional standards established by the employer. Candidates are strictly required to possess a minimum of three years of relevant workspace experience in their respective fields, complemented by professional fluency in the Russian language. Proficiency in Chinese is considered an asset during the evaluation process.

Turkmenistan Develops Bio-Agent to Neutralize Methane Emissions

Specialists at the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, led by Durdymyrat Gadamov and Altyn Rahmanova, have developed a new-generation bio-agent designed to neutralize soil methane emissions. The solution utilizes local bacteria adapted to the regional climate, which harness methane monooxygenase to convert methane into carbon dioxide and water.

Methane is a major contributor to global warming, with a heat-trapping capacity in the atmosphere significantly higher than that of carbon dioxide. The newly developed bio-agent features high efficiency in industrially congested areas, cost-effectiveness through the use of local raw materials, and complete safety for human health and the environment.

This scientific breakthrough aligns with Turkmenistan's sustainable development strategy, supporting its commitments under the Global Methane Pledge to enhance environmental oversight in the energy sector.
