The conference hall of the Agricultural Complex of Turkmenistan hosted a scientific-practical conference titled "Ecological Welfare and International Cooperation in the Year of Independence, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan — Land of Fast-Paced Horses" (the citation references the state motto of the respective publication period). The annual event, timed to coincide with World Environment Day — established by the UN General Assembly in 1972 — provided an institutional platform to review national environmental protection milestones and evaluate the strategic implementation of state ecological programs.

According to the official media release of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, the meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, combining physical attendance with digital connectivity. The session brought together directors and experts from environmental and nature protection agencies, sector ministries, academic research circles, higher education institutions, civil organizations, and prominent international and regional development bodies. Prior to the plenary sessions, an expansive exhibition was launched in the lobby of the Agricultural Complex, displaying Turkmenistan's corporate and state achievements in biodiversity conservation and eco-resource management.

The academic presentations and panels focused heavily on the synchronization of eco-standards with agrarian productivity. Delegations discussed the large-scale integration of water-saving irrigation networks, advanced desertification mitigation tools, and the progress of the National Forest Program aimed at carbon sequestration. Special attention was dedicated to Turkmenistan's multilateral diplomacy within UN frameworks (UNEP, UNDP), emphasizing joint cross-border projects designed to address climate adaptation in the Aral Sea basin and preserve the ecological balance of the Caspian Sea marine environment.
