A major motorsport event bringing together the country’s top drivers highlighted the rapid growth and high standards of national automobile sports. The intense two-day race took place at the end of June, covering challenging routes through the Dashoguz and Ahal regions. The competition was jointly organized by the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports, the Automobile Sport Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry.

The demanding route, carved through the rugged landscapes of the Karakum Desert, spanned a total distance of 358 kilometers. The race course was structurally divided into two high-speed special stages, measuring 181.32 kilometers and 61.43 kilometers respectively. Elite racing teams representing the National Automobile Sport Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Automobile Transport competed intensely for the title.

Following two days of grueling desert racing, the final standings in the overall classification were officially determined. The championship gold was claimed by Bayram Annagulyev, representing the Automobile Sport Federation. Driving a Nissan Patrol, he demonstrated exceptional navigation and speed, completing the entire distance in an impressive 3 hours, 39 minutes, and 56 seconds.

The silver medal went to Merdan Toylyev, who represented the Ministry of Automobile Transport. Also piloting a Nissan Patrol, he crossed the finish line just a few minutes behind the leader with a time of 3 hours, 46 minutes, and 1 second. The podium was completed by Charyyar Charyyarov from the Ahal Region Police Department, who navigated the desert terrain in a Toyota Hilux, finishing the race in 4 hours and 2 minutes.
